I absolutely adore Alice in Wonderland, the book, the Disney version of it, and obviously, the Tim Burton version!
I enjoyed the Tim Burton version alittle more then the Disney version, but merely because of the amazing graphics, and how ridiculous the characters looked. Johnny Depp did a remarkable job being the Mad Hatter. But the Disney version does carry the philosphies mentioned in the book.
Such as my favourite few quotes,
"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"- The Mad Hatter, asking an answer less question. Proving, nothing has an answer
"Well, I never heard it before, but it sounds uncommon nonsense."- The Mock Turtle, making absolute sense, of absolute none sense.
"No wonder you're late. Why, this watch is exactly two days slow."- The Mad Hatter, being logical.
"Read the directions and directly you will be directed in the right direction.”- The Doorknob
"What if I should fall right through the center of the earth... oh, and come out the other side, where people walk upside down.”- Alice. I find her reasoning, rather true. Don't the people opposite from us, walk upside down?
Did I mention I'm auditioning for my schools production of Alice In Wonderland? <3
